Woman holding dried floral arrangement

Calling all my fellow entrepreneurs and business owners! Please tell me you can relate to my experience.

Coming up with a name for my business was a chaotic process to say the least. I can be pretty “old school” sometimes, when it comes to my creative process. I love using pen and paper…there’s just something about it that gets my creative juices flowing.

Picture this, a corner desk full of notebooks, post-it’s, and pieces of mail with a bunch of scribbly words scattered everywhere. Day after day, I sat at my desk racking my brain, trying to come up with varying combinations of words that meant something to me or inspired my work with therapy clients. If you’ve ever tried to open a business or buy a website domain, I know you know my struggle! To my surprise, almost every domain name I wanted was already in use, causing me to think, “damn, I guess my ideas aren’t as unique as I thought!” 😅

With the help and support of my family and closest friends, I finally settled on Conscious Healing Therapy. I’m typically an indecisive person but when I finally settled on this name, I felt nothing but certainty (plus a little fear & excitement).

So, why Conscious Healing Therapy? Why did this name sit so comfortably with me? As I reflected on these questions, I thought about the work I do with my clients. It became clear that our work together always begins with assessing and developing awareness, specifically self-awareness.

The common definition of consciousness is being aware of and responding to one’s surroundings. To me, being conscious is bringing attention to one’s thoughts, feelings, emotions and body. As my clients learn to develop more conscious awareness throughout their healing journey, it becomes easier for them to intentionally live their lives in alignment with their values; their true self.

This is why.

Conscious Healing Therapy is not only my business but it is my passion. I know what it’s like to be unaware of yourself and walk through life misaligned…it does NOT feel good. If you’re curious about how you can start living your life consciously, let’s chat!

With love,

Sabrina
